Every breeder has their own method for helping you choose your special puppy. Here’s how we do it.

Once you have decided which litter is right for you, a deposit is placed to hold your spot. Deposits are taken either by Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check. Our deposit is $1000. Your deposit is fully refundable at any time. We will refund you the same day.

When your puppy is whelped (born), we usually wait three days and send a video by text (we must have your cell number).

Pictures and videos are usually sent once a week with an update on how they are doing. When we send the first pictures, we will tell you the pickup date. You must be available that weekend so you can choose your puppy.

Picking is done by the date of deposit on the day of pick up. The exceptions to this policy is if a puppy is a show or breeding quality, or if there is an out-of-the-box reason; ie a child has documented need for a puppy with a specific temperament. Everyone will be given an hour and a half alone with the available puppies, picking is done strictly by the date of deposit.

The sooner you get your deposit in, the more puppies you will have to choose from.

Our contract is very simple and clear, with what we believe to be an amazing genetic health guarantee. We would never require you to return your puppy. We are very proud of our guarantee because keeping you with your puppy is the best thing for your family and the best thing for your puppy.

If our current puppies do not capture your heart, you may move your deposit to the next available litter, or we will be happy to refund your money.

All puppies staying with us beyond nine weeks are to be paid in full at the eight week original pick up date. Puppies staying longer than nine weeks may be subject to a puppy sitting charge.

Following the adoption, we give you three weeks to have your first vet visit— other breeders give three days. We believe the best vets are right here in New England, their support teams are unparalleled!

We highly encourage you to continue socializing your puppy when you take them home. And we suggest you read Puppies for Dummies, 4th Edition no matter how experienced you are. I have been a breeder for 15 years and I refer to this book all the time!

* Deposits are fully refundable, CT. State sales tax applies.
